I have had the Nextiva/Intalk product since Jan of 2008. It has been very reliable and fir the first year, I raved about their support. Things have changed dramatically in the last year, as Nextiva has seemed to give virtually NO support anymore and have wrong support phone numbers and email addresses on the intalk website. My Caller ID hasn't worked for weeks and I am told that "Nextiva's carrier", isn't doing their job and that Nextiva is after them. Have they outsourced Intalk to some other company ?? It is a total mess and I am looking for another company. started great, but now stink. Jon

I was a Nextiva customer for 9 months. Eventual I made the switch due to constant problems with the service where calls do not go through, the sound quality sucks or the service just simply goes down for no reason at all. I spent hours on the phone with tech support where they fiddled with my adapter to try and set it up for it to work. Eventually just got tired of trying to fix it *constantly". I understand the quirks of VOIP but after setting it up several times with their tech people it would still be giving me headaches..

I've used intalk for a whole year and plan to discontinue it now. The business side of inTalk is ok. The value is very good. their online account support is ok but not very user friendly. I'm on the limited service plan and pay for extra minutes beyond 300 min. Three times during the year, I was over-billed due to mistakes by their infrastructure. Customer support was quite responsive in the beginning but more recently became kind of slow and sometimes not very effective. The sound quality is fine but I frequently encountered problems of picking up call. When incoming calls arrive, receiving end can't hear any sound while the dialing side only gets the dialing tone-perceiving no one is there to pick up the call. The worst part of this is the unpredictability - it comes and goes. Very annoying and hard to get inTalk support to understand.
